Worship Service – Wild Church: Autumn 2026
Worship Service – Wild Church with Rev. Kellie Kelly
Join us as at the Blue Heron Shelter in Taylorsville MetroPark as we commune with nature.
This week’s service will be in-person only. The shelter we are using is accessible by a paved walkway from the parking lot. Chemical toilets can be found nearby. To navigate to this shelter, simply type “Blue Heron Shelter, Taylorsville MetroPark” into Google Maps.
This is not a Worship for All Ages. Children and youth will meet with their teachers at the start of service and move to a nearby location. Families should plan to pick up their children at 2:15 PM.
As both the service and our Religious Enrichment classes will take place outside today, please consider dressing for the weather. Consider wearing long pants and socks to protect you from ticks and poisonous plants. Wear sunscreen and bug repellent. And, with a 60% chance of rain, you may want to consider wearing a rain jacket as well. You can keep up-to-date with this weekends forecast on Weather.com.
For your comfort, we encourage you to bring a water to drink, and your own chairs for the grass. And, if you’d like to record your reflections, please bring along a notepad and writing utensil as well. Thank you!
