Second Hour Offering – Welcoming Returning Citizens
Sunday, August 30th from 2:30 to 3:30 PM
On the heels of her service “What is Real Welcome? How Far do we Take this Equity Thing?” Rev. Dr. Alice Diebel will facilitate a discussion on how we can welcome returning citizens into our congregation. Consider – when you consider the life of our congregation, who is part of it?
There will also be an opportunity for all ages to write / make cards for imprisoned UUs!
*Second Hour Offerings consist of a variety of Adult Enrichment, Social Justice, and Community Building opportunities. It is called ‘second hour’ because it takes place after the ‘first hour’ of programming, consisting of worship and children / youth enrichment.
