Ambassador Practice – May 9th @ 10 AM – 11:30 AM

We’re coming up on summer, which means public outreach events (aka Ambassador Events) like Dayton Pride. To prepare for interacting with potential visitors, we’re holding a practice session. Do you want to help out, but are unsure what to say? Have a little bit of anxiety about it? We are and do too, so come explore this topic with us. We’ll start with a short talk on the basics, have you craft an elevator speech, and then we’ll have 1-on-1 practice conversations with each other, using some light role play.

This is NOT a requirement to participate in any kind of public outreach this summer, nor is this formal, doctrinal training. It is an informal opportunity to hone the skills of both attendees and organizers.
