St. Patrick’s Day Protest
What: Gather with signs to call for justice on the public sidewalk outside Sinclair College while U.S. Representative Mike Turner’s Chief of Staff speaks inside. Signs will be available for you to counter the false anti-immigrant narrative that is promoted by the current administration. If possible, wear green for St. Patrick’s Day and to celebrate the many Irish who immigrated to the U.S. to save their lives during the Great Famine (Potato Famine). (In addition, it is expected that others will be present in support of democracy, human services, and public employees and against authoritarianism. )
When: Dayton. Monday, March 17, 11:30 am to about 12:15 pm (allow time for parking)
Where: on the public sidewalk outside Sinclair College Building 12 (444 West Third St., Dayton 45404).
More details: Contact Lynn Buffington at ABUFFLG@gmail.com, text or call 937-657-0426. Inside Building 12 will be a private Rotary Club meeting where Jason Galanes, Rep. Turner’s Chief of Staff will be speaking on the topic of US NATO Parliamentary Assembly Delegation.
