UUA Social Action Group
MVUUF focuses on issues identified by the larger Unitarian Universalist community at the state, national and global levels.
This group brings issues identified through the UUA General Assembly Social Witness Process to the congregation as part of a denomination-wide study/action process. Some of the recent study/action issues we have considered are:
- Ethical Eating
- Immigration as a Moral Issue
- Reproductive Justice
To get involved in this work, contact Kathleen Pennington.
The congregation is also a member of the state action network of Unitarian Universalists called UUJO (UU Justice Ohio). Participation in this network increases our opportunities to make a difference on important legislation at the state level. For more information contact Alice Diebel.
