The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is coming to Cincinnati at the end of February and our UU friends to the south have invited us to join the fun!
The UU Council of Greater Cincinnati (UUCGC) is pleased to announce that Rev. Laura Randall, UUSC Director of Congregational Relations, will be coming to Cincinnati on February 28 and March 1 to be with all of the Greater Cincinnati congregations. On Saturday evening, February 28, all the congregations’ members of Greater Cincinnati are invited to a potluck dinner at the Heritage Universalist Unitarian Church in Anderson Township (2710 Newtown Rd., Cincinnati, OH 46244) on the East side of Cincinnati. After the potluck, Laura and Cassandra Ryan, from the UUSC staff, will be on hand to discuss current UUSC projects and how the UUSC is moving forward in these times of political and social crises. The Sunday morning Worship Service with Rev. Laura Randall will be held at St. John’s Unitarian Universalist Church (320 Resor Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45220) at 11 AM where she will share more about the UUSC and how we can sustain ourselves in a world so full of pain and injustice. There will be more opportunity to speak with Laura and Cassandra after the service during the St. John’s Coffee Hour. The Sunday service will also be broadcast via YouTube for those who cannot attend in person.
