CASA Volunteer Info Session
Join Director Andrina Ryhlick and MVUUF teacher Cassia Halfpap for a 15-minute info session on volunteering to be a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in the Montgomery County Juvenile Courts. In 2024, the CASA program received over 700 referrals for children needing a voice in court. A CASA volunteer advocates for a child in cases of abuse, neglect, or dependency by gathering facts, connecting a child to resources, advocating for a child’s best interests, and ensuring services are provided. CASA volunteers receive extensive training and support. The next training starts at the end of February. Please attend this info session to find out if this important work might be right for you. The children of Montgomery County need us!
If you aren’t able to attend this info session, please contact Rev. Kellie.
